A crown covers the whole tooth. It is what goes on after a root canal, a significant fracture, or decay heavy enough that a filling would not hold. We use zirconia and ceramic, shaped and shaded to sit alongside your natural teeth rather than stand out from them.
A bridge replaces a missing tooth by anchoring to the teeth on either side of the gap. It is a fixed solution and a good one where an implant is not suitable, though it does mean preparing the neighbouring teeth.
Dentures, partial or complete, restore chewing and speech where several teeth are missing. Fit is everything with dentures, so they are checked against your bite and adjusted until they feel right.
Whichever it is, we check it against how you actually bite and chew, and we adjust. A restoration that looks correct but sits a fraction high is the one that causes problems later.
