A small clinic that takes its time

Priva Dental and Wellness Clinic sits on the second floor of Shivsai Complex, opposite SKP Campus in Balewadi. Two doctors work here: Dr Snehal Waykar Sawle, who handles the dentistry, and Dr Vivek Sawle, who consults as a general physician and diabetologist. That is why the name says wellness as well as dental.

One chair, set up properly

A single operatory means one patient at a time and no queue building up behind you. The room holds an X-ray arm on the wall, a UV chamber for sterilised instruments, and a fresh disposable setup laid out for every appointment. It is not a large clinic and it is not trying to be.

Hygiene is the second thing patients mention in reviews, right after comfort. Instruments go through a sealed autoclave cycle, single use items are opened in front of you, and surfaces are wiped down between patients.

Eight years in practice, and the dentist behind almost every review on this site. Patients describe a calm, steady approach, treatment that turns out to be painless, and a habit of recommending only what is genuinely needed.

She keeps up with continuing education, including Dentsply Sirona sessions on predictable composite restorations, which is where the photograph alongside was taken.

How we work

Four habits we do not cut corners on.

Explain first, treat second

You get the finding, what it means, the options and the honest recommendation before anything starts. For children we will pull up a video on the laptop if that is what makes it land.

Only what is needed

If a cement filling will do the job, we will not sell you a root canal. Patients who came for a second opinion are a meaningful share of our practice and that is not an accident.

Comfort is a clinical decision

Anaesthesia gets time to work, the pace matches yours, and we check in through the appointment. If you need to stop for a minute, we stop.

Follow up personally

The doctor calls to check how you are healing rather than leaving it to a reminder system. Several reviews mention this specifically.
