What "Complete Dental Care" Actually Means

What "Complete Dental Care" Actually Means

Complete dental care means treating the small stuff before it becomes the big stuff. A routine cleaning today is a lot cheaper and less painful than the root canal that ignoring it eventually leads to.

It is easy to think of a dentist as someone you see when something already hurts. In practice, most of what we do at Priva is the opposite: catching a cavity while it is still small enough for a filling, catching gum inflammation before it becomes gum disease, catching a cracked filling before the tooth underneath is compromised.

That is really what "complete" means here. Not a long menu of treatments, but the habit of actually checking before things escalate. A six monthly cleaning and check-up is the single most cost-effective thing you can do for your mouth, and it is also the appointment people skip most often.

When something does need treatment, complete care means being told honestly what is needed and what is not. If a filling will do the job, we are not going to talk you into more. That is not a slogan for us. It is why a meaningful share of our patients come in for a second opinion after being told they need something bigger elsewhere.

If it has been over six months since your last check-up, that is really the starting point for everything else.
